Granada also has Spanish language schools where you can take some lessons and learn Spanish at your own pace.

Because Granada is located on shores of big Lake Nicaragua boat tours to the archipelagos known as Las Isletas are a must. Kayaking, swimming, fishing, canopy tour in Mombacho dormant volcano, paragliding in Diriomito, bird watching and hiking are some of the leisure activities to do in Granada and Laguna de Apoyo nearby Crater Lake.
